I would like to know if it is possible to adjust a charators looks and size from the server side instead of redoing that charator all over again?Thanks

Yes. Anything tied to an account, therefore the appearance of the characters themselves, can be changed manually. Probably a matter of changing a few fields in a database. Before you ask, though, no. They will not do that for you. Whole lot of fuss, I'd imagine, and while I know bugger-all about this I'd bet there's always the chance of corrupting the database.

If there's a chance of corruption in the database by changing entries in it, I think you need to overhaul your code as that's pretty damn unstable.

Hi,

Stature is not reconfigurable. You may have greater options for this in the future, but even then, I don't believe that it will be something that you can control and change after the character is created.

Honestly, one of the neatest things Star Wars Galaxies had was a job that allowed someone to completly change the way another looked(with options not available to all when you first created your character too)

That game takes the cake for image customization... if you look at WoW... you get 8 races... but only a few skin colors, a few hair/hair color options, and possibly an "other" option(facial hair, jewelry). In SWG, you got dozens of each and the ability to completly reconfigure the facial structure(including reshaping the jaws, nose, and eyes in both width and length and tons of different eye colors) and (to some degree) the body structure.

Of course, thats probably one of the reasons the game had hideous load times...



Now that I've gotten a little off topic... I think "extra" options in Guild Wars would be nice, but I don't really see it as a priority.

changing your armor and dyeing them is not enough? OK. sorry I guess...

I'll be happy with just a cape toggling option, to be honest.
